Dental Emergencies

Are you having a dental emergency? We provide emergency dental care to existing patients. We’ll do our best to help you.

Common Dental Emergencies

Here are some common dental emergencies and what you can do at home to minimize pain and discomfort.

Abscessed Tooth

An abscess can cause swelling in your gums and severe sensitivity. Pain medication can help reduce your pain while you wait to come to our office.

Broken Tooth

A broken or knocked out tooth needs to be treated right away. Your chances of saving the tooth are highest if you get care within an hour of the injury. If you can find the tooth or broken piece put it in a cup of milk and bring it with you to our office.

Cavity

A cavity can expose the sensitive inner part of your tooth and cause intense pain. A small piece of soft, sugarless chewing gum placed over the sensitive area can provide some relief.

If you suffer a dental emergency, call our office right away.
